Because of harsh climate related with lightning and overwhelming showers last night (29) everywhere throughout the island, various occasions of lightning striking were accounted for.
3 people who were occupied with drying paddy at the helicopter field before previous President
Mahinda's home in Weeraketiya, Medamulana were struck by lightning last night and each of them 3 lost their lives on the spot thus, it was accounted for. The expired are people from zones of Galpoththayaya, Kudasimbula and Siyambalaheththewa, it was accounted for. They had come that day with the end goal of drying exercises on an employed premise when they passed on with lightning striking them.
